Is it possible to understand/read simple anime and video games with just Duolingo Japanese? (Maybe middle school reading level) The mobile version is nicer than the web version. It's basically a similar format to Duolingo, but much more optimized and practical. It's focus is grammar, but you'll learn vocab too, and the notes on there are incredible. I thing with reading is that my vocabulary is not good enough wo learn by reading.
or download the app but really it depends on your language pair as we have only a limited number (currently). Lingvist you can now automatically add pictures to your cards and if the picture doesn’t suit you you can change it. It only focuses on learning vocabulary and both Spanish and Italian are available. Looking for a tool/app for learning multiple languages at once with a common dictionary that has SRSĮven though it doesn't exactly fit your description maybe might still be of interest. I used to use Lingvist when learning spanish before.
